Constructional Engineering and Ecological Environment
The 2022 4th International Symposium on Architecture Research Frontiers and Ecological Environment (ARFEE 2022) was successfully held in Guilin, China from December 23rd to 25th, 2022 (virtual event). This Seminar was the fourth in a series of topical meetings, which began with the Wuhan meeting in 2018 and continued with the Guilin meeting in 2019, and the Zhangjiajie meeting in 2020. ARFEE 2022 was attended by about 60 participants from different countries.
For this fourth meeting we returned to Guilin and met with our old or new friends again. While the location of the Conference has been changed sometimes, what remained invariant is the aim of these meetings, which is to discuss recent advances and new perspectives in architecture research frontiers and ecological environment in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. At this meeting we had a comprehensive overview of this fascinating field and of future scenarios thanks to the participation of leaders of the most important projects.
The Conference presented an outstanding program of papers covering the most recent advances in architecture research frontiers and ecological environment, including 3D Printing Architecture, Architectural Design and Theory, Green Building, Building Energy Saving Technology, Sustainable Development, Wetlands and Aquatic Ecosystems, Waste Treatment and Recycling, etc. The papers in this Proceedings published by CRC Press / Balkema – Taylor & Francis Group represent a collection of the invited talks.
