In recent times, many investigations in the field of vibration have been motivated by its engineering applications. These applications encompass machinery diagnostics; structural health monitoring; automotive noise, vibration, and harshness; human health and biomedical engineering; acoustics; energy harvesting; etc.
The authors reviewed many such research works and, after a meticulous review, compiled a collection of novel works in the form of a book. The authors named this book Vibration Engineering: Modeling, Simulation, Experimentation, and Applications because they wished to collect and showcase the progress happening in the field of vibration, with respect to its different applications, in one place.
This collection of papers in the form of chapters will be useful to nascent as well as expert researchers in academia and industries to understand the level of vibration‐related research happening around the world in diverse domains.
